Here I come with the fifth part of Windows Vista deployment topic. So far, you have done the following activities on the reference computer.
Now, you are really ready to deploy the image you captured into destination computer and this FIFTH PART and beyond will guide you how to do that. For your information, the THREE stages of tasks above should be done in destination computer.
Actually you can divide this deployment task into THREE stages like below:
THIS PART WILL GUIDE YOU HOW TO PARTITION AND FORMAT THE HARD DISK OF DESTINATION COMPUTER USING MICROSOFT DISKPART.
What You Need
Before The Procedures
The Procedures
select disk 0 the hard disk will be selected.
clean the hard disk will be erased.
create partition primary the partition will be created.
select partition 1 the partition 1 will be selected if it has TWO partition in a hard disk.
active the partition 1 will be activated.
format fs=ntfs quick format partition 1 with ntfs file system.
assign letter=<drive letter> the drive letter can be C: or D:. If the destination computer has 1 hard disk, the drive letter C: is suitable.
exit Exit Microsoft DiskPart utility.
