How To Install Google Analytics Into Your Blog

If you really take care about your blog performance, you will not ignore about Google Analytics. Installing Google Analytics is very good to your blog because you can track details statistics of your blog visitors and your content page’s performance.

What I means detail statistics is Google Analytics will allow you to track from where your blog visitors come.



Also, Google Analytics offer you the ability to view your content page’s performance. It mean you can see the most visited post in your blog.



Now, we will learn how to install the Google Analytics service in your blog.


The Procedures

1. Click here to login Google Analytics services with Google account –-> you will be re-directed to the table like below. 
   
   
   
   
2. Click +Add new profile –-> you will be re-directed to the Create New Website Profile’s window like below. 
   
   
   
   
3. Based on the picture above, UNDER Choose Website Profile Type click radio button Add a Profile for a new domain –-> UNDER Add a Profile for a new domain insert your blog’s URL –-> click button Continue.
   
   
4. Add the tracking code provided below into your blog templates.
   
   
   
   
5. To add the tracking code, login to the blogger.com –-> access your blog templates’ editor. 
   
   
6. The tracking code above must be pasted before the closing </head> tag. See the example below.
   
   
   
   
7. Click button SAVE TEMPLATE –-> close the blog template’s editor.
   
   
8. Now, return to the Google Analytics tracking code’s page –-> click button Save and Finish
   
   
   
   Note:
   
   After you click button Save and Finish, you will be re-directed to the interface below.
   
   
    
   Based on the picture above, you can see the tracking status message indicate that the tracking code has not been detected on your blog template yet. Click here for more tracking status information.
   
   So please verify that you has installed the tracking code correctly by following the steps under After The Procedures.

After The Procedures

1. Based on the picture above, click Edit –-> you will be re-directed to the Profile Settings’ interface like below.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Check Status –-> you will be re-directed to the Tracking Code’s interface like below.
   
    
   
   
3. Based on the picture above, the tracking status indicate that tracking code has been successfully installed.
   
   
4. Click button Save and Finish locate at the bottom of the Tracking Code’s interface.
   
   
5. You have to wait at least 24 hours in order to see the data in your Google Analytics’ Report appears. To see the report, click View Report indicated inside the table below.
